"Moses" a Story of a Hero...

Harriet Tubman known as "Moses" was a hero to all black slaves. Harriet played a very important role in the Underground Railroad.
Harriet Tubman was born around 1820, her birth name was Araminta Ross. . Along with her family she was a slave. At age 6 she was sold to work as a house made. At age 7 sold to work in the fields. At age ten she suffered from a bad blow to the head. The blow left her sleeping spells that no one could wake her from. At age 25, she was married to John Tubman. She later changed her name to Harriet Tubman. Afraid of being sold Harriet, ran away one night with help from a nice with woman.
Harriet Tubman escaped successfully to Canada.The next year she returned to Maryland and took her sister and her sister's two children to freedom. She then made another dangerous trip back to the South a little after to bring her brother and two other men. The third time she returned, she went after her husband, but found he had married another wife. Harriet Tubman had been a hero. For ten years she saved 300 slaves and brought them north. Putting herself in danger to save those she loved.
